This is really an item I bought for the frame, but ended up loving the painting inside as well.  I don't know too much about the artist but it is signed in the corner.

This is a unique item, it is the top to a china hutch.  We only found the top part, but I do think it would make a lovely shelf in the kitchen, it could be modified to work just like this!

I love Des Moines!  I am such a big fan of our city, and try to explore all that it has to offer.  Yesterday I did a photo shoot at the Des Moines Art Center, perfect weather!  If you are looking to take some fun family photos this is a great place.  It has a lot to offer...  Happy Weekend!
