Fresh Picked Items - Vintage Furniture

Thank you to all of our new followers on the blog and on Facebook!  When you like Herb's Salvage on Facebook, you get a first look at some of our
"Fresh Picked" items straight from the road.  The items will also be posted here on our blog within a day or so of getting them.  Remember to stop by our store on Sunday 10-5 for our latest finds.  If you cannot make it to the store during our normal business hours, don't hesitate to call Frank for an appointment.

First off is this gorgeous vanity that has drawers on each side and a beautiful mirror on top. The details across the front and on the drawers are lovely.  The spots in the photo are from my "retro" photo app that I will probably try to avoid using next time for a clearer photo.

Project Alert! These tables are perfect for a makeover!  They are gorgeous when painted a high gloss black, white or even BOLDER color!

We have a little box full of architectural wood pieces.  They most likely came from other vintage furniture like a hutch.  They look great sitting on top of a a stack of vintage books or on a bookshelf.

Newly restyled bookshelf!  This bookshelf is cream and has really great details on the side of the top shelf.

Simple desk with a drawer in the front.  This desk is full of clean lines and would look great with a fresh coat of paint!

Another piece that with a little TLC could fit right into any decor.  It is in great shape too.

If you are looking for a unique desk this could be it!  It is a pretty good sized desk even though the photo doesn't seem to reflect that.  It is a "shabby chic" kind of cream!! :)

We have had this really cute children's play closet for awhile, and decided to give the outside a fresh coat of cream paint.  The outside was pretty beat up even though the painting was charming, we think this gives it new life.  We left the inside just the way we found it, we loved the vintage colors and wanted to keep that. This has the potential for so many different things.

*Children's Armoire
* Little girl's dressing area (could put mirrors on the inside doors)
*Toy storage closet
*Storage for dolls

I would love to see photos of how you incorporated this cabinet into your home and what you decided to use it for!

We hope you are having a great weekend, and can find some time to stop into Herb's on Sunday!
Happy Weekend
